ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT TO CONSIDER BANNING PAYMENT BY MINUTE FOR CITY INTERNAL TELEPHONE CALLS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia Arshak Sadoyan managed to collect the necessary quantity of his colleagues' signatures to call a special meeting of the Parliament to consider the question of making changes in the Law on telecommunications. The initiator of the measures intends to press for adding an item to the law to prohibit introduction of payment by minute for city internal telephone conversations until equal conditions are secured for all telephone users. Let us remind that in case of introducing such an item "ArmenTel" company can file a claim in the International Arbitration Tribunal against the Armenian Government. In the words of Minister of Justice David Harutyunian, there are too little chances for the court verdict to be in favor of Armenia.
