AMERICAN DIPLOMAT CONSIDERS NATO CAN SUBSTITUTE OSCE MINSK GROUPFebruary 6, 2002 - 22:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Former US Ambassador to NATO Robert Hunter considers that under certain conditions NATO can substitute OSCE Minsk Group as mediator in Karabakh conflict settlement. "Mediamax" agency reports Hunter's article in "NATO Review" says this. "If it is managed to persuade Russia to play a greater role in NATO, the North Atlantic Alliance may contribute to OSCE Minsk Group and even substitute it," - the high rank American diplomat writes.
