NEW ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT NOT GOING TO RETURN BANK SAVINGS OF "SOVIET PERIOD" TO POPULATION

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Orinats Yerkir" party proposal to return bank savings of "the Soviet period" to the population of Armenia is not included in the program of the new government, where the party has three ministerial portfolios. As minister of finance and economy of Armenia Vardan Khachatrian told journalists today, the proposal was not accepted due to being unreal. The minister noted that "Dashnaktsutyun" party proposal to form a special state body for struggle against corruption was not included in the program either. In his opinion, the creation of such a body will further promote corruption in the country. He added that after corresponding negotiation "Dashnaktsutyun" party itself withdrew the issue. It should be noted that party also has three ministerial posts in the new government.
