TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION MINISTER STATED OTE GREEK COMPANY ENGAGED IN ILLEGALLY ACQUIRED MONEY LAUNDERING IN ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - The minister of transport and communication of RA Andranik Manukyan stated yesterday that OTE Greek company, the owner of 90% of «ArmenTel» shares, is engaged in illegally acquired money laundering in Armenia. According to him, the company strives for leaving the market, as it is not allowed laundering the illegally acquired money by the government. He noted that Greek company leadership aimed at provoking the government to file an action to London arbitration tribunal. OTE wants to get back a part of money invested in «ArmenTel» at the expense of fine sanctions. Andranik Manukyan assured the government of the republic would not give way to provocation.
