EUROPEAN COUNCIL POLITICAL COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT ISSUE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Political Committee of the Council of Europe will touch the issue of Karabakh conflict settlement within the framework of the consideration of the Pact on stability in South Caucasus at the December meeting. It is expected that in the nearest future the candidature of speaker on the Karabakh issue that should be approved by conflict parts will be appointed. The speaker will visit Yerevan, Stepanakert and Baku where he will get to know the situation. The hearing of the report will apparently be in fall, next year. There is no definite answer to the question of Armenian delegation in the PACE regarding the participation of Nagorno Karabakh's representatives in the discussion of the report. The Armenian delegation members categorically deny the Baku media information that the Council of Europe has recognized Armenia as a country-aggressor. As «Arminfo» agency notes this issue has not been discussed at the PACE at all.
