ARMENIAN ATOMIC POWER PLANT RESUMED GENERATING ELECTRICITY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today the Armenian atomic power plant, which stopped operation July 18 for planned preventive repair and refueling, resumed generating electric power. Financial problems prolonged the standstill of the station. The new consignment of nuclear fuel was only bought after arranging for a credit of 4 million dollars in the Inter-State Bank. The sum was used as prepayment for the fuel supplied by the Russian side.
