YEREVAN PRESS CLUB STOPS RECIPROCAL VISIT EXCHANGE OF ARMENIAN AND AZERBAIJAN JOURNALISTS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Under the condition of hysteria that has begun in the Azerbaijani media, Yerevan press club has to stop the reciprocal visit exchange of Armenian and Azerbaijan journalists. According to «Arminfo» agency, this was stated by head of Yerevan press club Boris Navassardyan. According to him, under the conditions of not natural worsening of the situation in Azerbaijan the visit exchange of journalists instead of clearing the air, is generating tension. Navasardyan has noted that the hysteria in Azerbaijan is not produced by journalists but « by the heads». Nevertheless, Yerevan press club is ready to assist in business visits of Armenian journalists to Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijani colleagues to Armenia. Besides, it is planned to hold virtual press conferences between Armenian and Azerbaijani State officials for media representatives of the two countries. Also Yerevan press club, together with Azerbaijani part, is going to hold monitoring of the public opinion and publications of the media of the two countries.
