Armenian-Turkish normalization may provoke war in Karabakh![]() April 26, 2010 - 18:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Director Kiro Manoyan said that if a war starts in Karabakh, nobody will be able to predict its scale. "I do not think that the possible failure in the Armenian-Turkish normalization may provoke a war in Karabakh. Azerbaijan will start a war in two cases – if it is confident in its victory and if it sees that the Armenian-Turkish normalization is taking place, due to which its interests are being ignored," Manoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. According to him, a war is unlikely, as there are not prerequisites for the Armenian-Turkish normalization. "But this does not mean that Armenia should disregard and endure Azerbaijan's bellicose statements. In my opinion, Armenia may state now that Yerevan will not continue the negotiations on Karabakh, unless Azerbaijan stops its warlike rhetoric and Turkey lifts Armenia's blockade," the Director of Hay Dat Office said.
