PACKAGE OF CHANGES IN ARMENIAN CONSTITUTION TO BE AGAIN SUBMITTED FOR REFERENDUMJune 3, 2003 - 19:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian president evaluates the results of the referendum on constitutional changes held May 25 as positive, as it showed that over 50% of the country citizens, who participated in the vote, were for reforming the Organic Law. Presidential press secretary Ashot Kocharian told "Liberty" radio station, when commenting on people declining the bill of constitutional reforms submitted for the national vote by the Armenian leader. In his words, some time later the package of constitutional changes will again be submitted for national referendum, which will be initiated by the state head or the parliament.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
