No Sarzgyan-Gul meeting in Astana scheduled

PanARMENIAN.Net - Sabah Turkish newspaper reported an upcoming December 1-2 meeting in Astana between Armenian and Turkish Presidents, Serzh Sargsyan and Abdullah Gul, within annual OSCE summit framework.

“No Sargsyan-Gul meeting in Astana has been scheduled,” presidential spokesman Armen Arzumanyan told PanARMENIAN.Net

However, he did not preclude the possibility of a meeting. “Armenian president has repeatedly stated that Armenian side will consider the possibility to resume rapprochement negotiations, should there be an evidence of relevant atmosphere in Turkey,” Arzumanyan noted.

“In all probability, President Sargsyan will participate in Astana summit,” Arzumanyan stated.
