  Azerbaijan kills Armenian soldier on threshold of presidential meeting October 26, 2010 - 22:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Ministry of Defense issued a statement with regard to the killing of NKR army soldier Harut Grigoryan, 20, who was shot as result of firing initiated by the Azerbaijani side at the line of contact. The Ministry condemned attempts to destabilize the region on the threshold of the meeting between Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Presidents in Astrakhan.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
