Gagik Harutyunyan: eastern sultanate formed in Azerbaijan

PanARMENIAN.Net - An eastern sultanate has been formed in Azerbaijan, the low turnout at the November 7 parliamentary election reflecting public indifference and submission to the fact, an Armenian expert said.

“To all appearance, the turnout was 30-35%,” director of Noravank research center Gagik Harutyunyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

Commenting on Armenian-Turkish relations, he said Armenia would gain more supporters and advantages if a second stage of normalization begins.
