Conscription issues dominated RA NSC 2010 agenda

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s National Security Council hosted 6 sittings in the course of 2010.

As the Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan stated, a number of programs were discussed and adopted, including those on development of armament and military technology, provision of border security, seismic safety and police reforms.

Issues on preparatory works as well as organization of conscription were among the top priorities in Council agenda. A decision was taken to create a unified record keeping system for citizens and draftees.
