Arman Melikyan: RA, Azerbaijani and Russian Foreign Ministers’ meeting will be of restraining nature![]() January 14, 2011 - 15:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Former foreign minister of NKR Arman Melikyan said that the upcoming meeting of the Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian Foreign Ministers will be of restraining nature. Commenting on the trilateral meeting to be held in January, Melikyan told a press conference in Yerevan that during it, most likely, the Russian side will try to convince the parties to refrain from bellicose statements and some sharp actions during the OSCE summit in February. With this, Russia will try to show that it plays a key role in the Karabakh conflict settlement, said Melikyan. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
