ARMENIA SIGNED THIRD PROGRAM WITH INTERNATIONAL FUND OF AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT

Agriculture Minister of Armenia Zaven Gevorgian and vice-president of the International Fund of Agriculture Development (IFAD) Clemens Van de Sandt signed today in Yerevan the 3rd program "Development of agricultural services" with a total amount of 18.1 million dollars.

As Mediamax was informed today in the press service of the Government, the program will be realized during 4 years in 7 regions of Armenia. IFAD has allocated 15.5 million dollars as a credit, the Armenian Government - 2.6 million dollars.

At today's meeting with Armenian Premier Andranik Margarian, Clemens Van de Sandt expressed satisfaction with the efficiency of the 2 programs, realized earlier, and voiced his hope for the productive fulfillment of the third program. --0--
