MIAK to raise awareness of Karabakh conflict worldwideApril 8, 2011 - 14:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 8, the United Liberal National Party of Armenia (MIAK) launched Nagorno Karabakh: Truth and Facts program, which is aimed at raising influential people’s awareness of the Karabakh conflict. Member of the party secretariat Gerasim Barseghyan told journalists that 4mln personalized electronic letters will be sent to members of governments and parliaments worldwide, as well as influential members of various international structures, public and political organizations from April 8 to May 8. The program is aimed at presenting the history, process and facts of the conflict to the world community, neutralizing the militant and false propaganda of Azerbaijan, as well as contributing to Karabakh’s international recognition. Head of Yerevan territorial organization of the party Sergey Vardanyan said that, in additional to sending personalized electronic letters, active works will be carried out on raising awareness of the Karabakh conflict also in social networks, specifically, Facebook and Twitter. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
