WORLD COMMUNITY HAS NO PRECISE PROGRAM FOR KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT YET, ARMENIAN MP THINKS

PanARMENIAN.Net - YEREVAN, March 3. /Mediamax/. "At present the world has no precise program to establish stability in the region and to solve the Karabakh conflict", said chairman of the Constitutional Right Union of Armenia, deputy of the parliament Hrant Khachatrian in the interview to "Golos Armenii" paper.

Khachatrian said the problem of the final settlement of the Karabakh conflict as such is not on the agenda of separate countries or their commonwealth.

Touching upon the possibility of the start of hostilities, the parliamentarian stressed that Azerbaijan has no means for such aggression and it can't count on the assistance of the world community.

"No one, neither Armenian people nor Azerbaijan want war, but there are forces, interested in destabilizing the situation", Khachatrian noted. In this connection it's necessary to find out the real national interests of the conflict parties, and it would be easier then to oppose the efforts of other forces to see the region as "a conflict zone", he said. --0--
