NO NEED TO SPEED UP TALKS ON KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT, ARMENIAN MP THINKS

"Sensible forces in Azerbaijan perfectly understand that whatever position Azeri top officials may take, Nagorno Karabakh is de facto already a state", chairman of the parliamentary "Unity" faction Galust Sahakian said in the interview to "Golos Armenii" paper.

Moreover, these sensible forces understand that Azerbaijan lacks the potential, which could realize war appeals, Sahakian thinks.

"I do not see any threat of hostilities resumption, so there is no need to speed up the negotiations", the parliamentary said. In this connection Sahakian stressed that Armenia had already made a concession, as NKR wasn't joined to Armenia, "despite the appropriate decision of the Supreme Council of Armenia concerning this". --0--
