New premises of NSS frontier department to open in Armenia April 26![]() April 23, 2011 - 13:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan attended new administrative buildings of the frontier department of the National Security Service (NSS). The complex occupies a territory of 17 thous. m2 and includes 12 buildings. As NSS spokesman Artsvin Baghramyan told a PanARMENAIAN.Net reporter, the opening ceremony will take place on April 26, on the Frontier Guard Day. According to head of the frontier department, colonel Gagik Tevosyan, the information center in the new complex is supplied with modern equipment, including special system to track Bagratashen checkpoint and Zvartnots airport. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
