WORLD BANK SUPPORTS ANTI-CORRUPTION PROGRAM OF THE ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - 23.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "World Bank supports the anti-corruption campaign, promoted by the government of Armenia," World Bank Regional director for Southern Caucasian states Judi O'Connor said today at a press conference in Yerevan.

Noting that corruption is a great problem not only for Armenia, but also for many other countries of the world, Mrs. O'Connor expressed the hope that the Armenian government would achieve considerable results in the near future. -0-
