ANC will not exchange public hate towards authorities for parliament buttons - Manukyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian National Congress (ANC) will never strike a bargain with authorities and eyes such suspicion as an insult, chairman of the Armenian National Movement (ANM) Aram Manukyan said.

“The hatred people have towards authorities - remember October 27, April 4 and March 1 - is a nonreimbursable value. And people will come to hate those individuals and political forces, who forget about it,” he told a press conference in Yerevan.

According to Manukyan, three years of struggle have shown that ANC leaders are moral and worthy, and even in jails ANC activists “didn't want freedom in exchange for dignity.”

He said that ANC leaders “proved their persistence, devotion, dignity and incorruptibility” and added that “we’ll never change these values for 20 or 30 vote buttons in parliament.
