AMENDMENTS TO TAX LEGISLATION WILL BE PREPARED IN 2001

PanARMENIAN.Net - 25.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Along with the bill on the state budget for FY2001 the Armenian government will submit to the parliament a program on amending tax and customs laws, the Armenian Deputy Economy and Finance Minister Gagik Arzoumanian said in his interview to Mediamax.

According to Arzoumanian, almost all the forms of taxation will be changed. Moreover, the way of calculation and payment of taxes will be simplified. The deputy minister added that in case if additional sources are allocated by the state budget the interest rate of Value Added Tax will be changed as well. --0--
