THE FUTURE OF "RIGHT AND UNIFICATION" FACTION WILL DEPEND ON THE SETTLEMENT OF THE SITUATION IN THE ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT, SAID THE CHAIRMAN OF CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT UNION OF ARMENIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - 03.10.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "The Constitutional Right Union has declared about its decision to terminate its allied relations with the "National Unity" party. In fact, decisions, delivered out of the parliament are not to be considered as a united declaration of the faction", said in the interview to MEDIAMAX the chairman of the Constitutional Right Union of Armenia, National Assembly deputy Hrant Khachatrian.

According to Mr. Khachatrian, as regards questions, discussed in the parliament, "Right and Unification" faction is guided by "program unity" principle, but the realization of this will also depend on the settlement of the situation in the Armenian parliament.

"Right and Unification" bloc was formed on the eve of the parliamentary elections of 1999. -0-
