THE DEFENSE MINISTERS OF ARMENIA AND RUSSIA WILL NEGOTIATE IN SOCHI

During the official visit of the president of Armenia Robert Kocharian to Moscow, to be held on September 25-27, the Defense minister of Armenia Serzh Sarkisian will hold negotiations with the head of the Russian military department Marshal Igor Sergeyev on the whole range of questions of the military-strategic partnership of the two countries.

As the correspondent of the Military news agency was informed in the Chief department of the international military cooperation of the Russian Defense Ministry, problems of financing of the Armenian servicemen's training in Russian military academies, as well as questions of military-technical cooperation of the two countries are to be discussed at the meeting. Perspectives of development of cooperation within the Collective security agreement will be considered at the meeting of the heads of the military departments. The negotiations of the Defense Ministers will be held in Sochi, where the Defense Minister of Russia Marshal Igor Sergeyev is having his rest now.-0-
