During his opening speech, Pashinyan urged opposition supporters to establish a watch group next to demonstrators’ tents to rule out possible provocations.

At Sept 30 rally, ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian announced the launch of round-the-clock protest actions, with the suggestion supported by demonstrators. The protest actions will last for 7 days. The police formed a human chain around the Liberty Square without preventing demonstrators from entering or leaving.
