ARMENIAN POLICE HEAD AWARDED INTERPOL GOLDEN BREASTPLATE

PanARMENIAN.Net - The other day chief of the police of Armenia Hayk Harutyunian paid a short visit to the headquarters of the International Police in Lyons (France) upon the invitation of Interpol secretary general Ronald Kenneth Noble. As the press service of the Armenian police told "Regnum" agency, within the framework of the visit Hayk Harutyunian held a number of meetings, including a tete-a-tete with the International Police secretary general, in the course of which issues of mutual interest and those referring to the prospects of further cooperation were discussed. The parties touched upon a range of issues on struggle against international crime, on regional cooperation of law-enforcement bodies. The Armenian police chief was awarded the Golden Breastplate of the International Police for considerable contribution to international cooperation of law-enforcement bodies.
