ARMENIAN PRESIDENT INTENDING TO VISIT INDIA

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the invitation of Indian President Abdul Calam, Armenian leader Robert Kocharian will fly to India on a formal visit October 29. The ministers of foreign affairs, commerce and economic development, education and science, agriculture as well as some businessmen serve on the delegation. In the course of the visit to last till November 1, Robert Kocharian is to meet with the supreme Indian leadership. Upon the completion of Armenian-Indian negotiations to be held with expanded membership, signing of bilateral papers is planned. Within the frames of the visit Armenian President is expected to meet with the representatives of Indian business circles and also to take part in the opening ceremony of the Center of Caucasology at the Institute of the industrial research of Chandigarkh. The Armenian leader will as well participate in the opening ceremony of the Armenian Embassy in New-Delhi and meet with the representatives of the Armenian community.
