CHAIRMAN OF AZERI BUSINESS FUND DOUBTS CONSIDERABLE GOODS TURNOVER BETWEEN ARMENIA AND AZERBAIJAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Azeri Center for Economic and Political Research and Fund for Enterprise Promotion of Azerbaijan Sabit Bagirov questioned that the volume of commodity turnover between Armenia and Azerbaijan is considerable. As he stated in the course of a Baku-Yerevan TV bridge, the data, presented by Azeri and Armenian media, that the volume of goods turnover between the two countries makes $50 million is hardly correct. Bagirov noted that even in the Soviet time (according to the data on 1987) the commodity turnover between Armenia and Azerbaijan did not exceed 2-3% of the total turnover volume of the countries - due to various, mainly historical reasons, Arminfo agency reported.
