Rubik Mamoyan wins silver at European U23 Weightlifting Championships

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 23, Armenia’s Rubik Mamoyan (62kg) won silver at the European U23 Weightlifting Championships in Limassol, Cyprus.

The Armenian sportsman lifted 270kg in the snatch and clean & jerk combination.

Armenian weightlifter Armen Arakelyan, who represents Greece, was the sixth with 241kg.

Armenia’s Vanik Avetisyan, David Muradyan and Zorik Poghosyan will enter the competition the same day.
