Vigen Mirumian shares 1-3 places at chess tournament in Czech Republic

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Vigen Mirumian celebrated his 4th victory at the international tournament in Czech Republic. With a hundred-percent result Mirumian is currently sharing the 1st-3rd places with GM Artur Jakubiec (Poland) and IM Viktor Dmitrenko (Ukraine).

In women’s tournament Evgeniya Doluhanova (Ukraine) has scored 3.5 points and is sharing 1-2 places with WGM Karina Szczepkowska (Poland), armchess.am reported.

GM Tigran L. Petrosian is going to take part in the big open which is to be held in Bhubaneswar, India from May 28 to June 6, 2011. The tournament is held for the 3rd time. The KIIT University Cup will be awarded to the winner.
