“To resume the reconciliation process, Turkey must demonstrate political will, renounce preconditions and ratify Protocols in parliament,” Abrahamyan stated.

“The only remaining step in this long lasting process is the ratification and implementation of the Armenian-Turkish protocols without further ado,” Armenian Foreign Minister said.

“The U.S. shows interest in Armenia-Turkey rapprochement to present Armenia from withdrawing its signature from Protocols,” Manoyan said.

Philip Gordon: normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey as well as between Armenia and Azerbaijan is important for the United States.

“The political process is deadlocked but we should not expect miracles before any significant change happens in the regional status quo,” the Turkish expert said.
