Saakashvili refuted hearsay on installation of U.S. anti-aircraft radar in Georgia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili refuted hearsay on installation of U.S. anti-aircraft devices in Georgia. When asked by Kazakh reporters whether the information is true, President Saakashvili said, "No one said it, it's a mere speculation," reports Trend news agency.



Earlier, Lt Gen Henry A. Obering, the Director of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) at the Office of the Secretary of Defense said Pentagon would like to have a radar station in the Caucasus. At that he did not mention the country supposed for it.
