Russia and U.S. work together on Karabakh conflict settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia and the United States work together for reaching peaceful solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, which will result in stability and security in South Caucasus, U.S. State Secretary's Aid for European and Eurasian Affairs Daniel Fried stated speaking in front of the Security and Cooperation in Europe Commission (the Helsinki Group) of the U.S. Congress. He said, solution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict depends on Azerbaijan and Armenia and is an issue of mutual interests.



"Together with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs I visited the region in spring, in order to present presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan the principles of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict resolution. Those principles are central in the settlement process," the American diplomat underscored.
