Some 200 assaults through national hatred committed in Russia this year

PanARMENIAN.Net - Some 200 assaults through xenophobia and national intolerance have been committed in Russia this year, resulting in 73 deaths.



According to Alexander Brod, director of the Moscow Bureau for Human Rights (MBHR), Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sverdlov region are leading with such crimes.



The number of radical nationalist activists in Russia reaches 60 thousand.



Most of assaults are committed against natives of Caucasus and Central Asia as well as representatives of sexual minorities, RFE/RL reports.
