  RA NA became associate member Frankofonia Parliamentary AssemblyJuly 6, 2009 - 23:58 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian delegation headed by NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan participates in the 35th session of Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly (FPA) convened in Paris. The Session is attended by about 50 delegations, with 15 headed by Parliament Speakers. On July 3 and 4, RA NA delegation had several non-official meetings with FPA member states, NA PR department reports.At its yesterday's session, NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with French Parliament Speaker Bernard Accoyer. Highly assessing Armenian-French ties, parties especially stressed Armenian community's role in promoting bilateral cooperation.
