Dink murderer kept in contact with Trabzon gendarmerie commander

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Istanbul court started the 17th session into the case of murder of Agos Armenian-Turkish weekly editor Hrant Dink. Lawyers who arrived from Paris and Brussels as well as Turkish parliament members are watching the process.

Dink family lawyer Fethiye Cetin urged to summon to court Ahmet Samast, assassin Ogun Samast’s father, who mentioned about his son’s acquaintance with a certain gendarmerie commander, Milliyet reports.

“The gendarmerie chief will know where my son is. They have often met,” Ahmet Samast told the police after he learnt about the murder.
