NO IRAQI REFUGEES IN KARABAKH, NKR FOREIGN MINISTER SAID
Azerbaijan does not have a right to point to Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR) how to act in a situation. Nagorno Karabakh foreign minister Ashot Gulian told "Mediamax" agency, when commenting on Azeri foreign minister Vilayat Guliyev's statement that official Baku was against accommodating Armenian refugees from Iraq in Nagorno Karabakh. At the same time the NKR foreign minister emphasized that the Azeri reports on lodging Armenian refugees from Iraq in Nagorno Karabakh were groundless. Meanwhile, A. Gulian noted that as a country, which had joined the Geneva Convention, and proceeding from humanitarian considerations the NKR was ready to accept refugees from Iraq if they make a corresponding request.
