Armenia’s brandy production grows by 42,9% Jan-Feb 2012

2530,3 thousand liters of brandy was produced in Armenia in January-February 2012, with production volume growing 42,9% against the same period in 2011 (1770,5 thousand liters).

According to the National Statistical Service, 968,7 thousand liters of vodka was produced in the same period, production volume increasing by 78,8%. against 2011. 654,5 thousand liters of wine was produced in January- February 2012 against 451 thousand liters in 2011 (45,1% growth).

During the reporting period, beer production totaled 436,2 thousand liters, growing by 37,2% against January 2011 (317,9 thousand liters). Production of champagne dropped by 93,8%, totaling 1,7 thousand liters.

In January-February 2012, production of soft drinks in Armenia grew by 7%, totaling 3913,2 thousand liters.
