During the recent two years the Armenian-American military cooperation has been developing rapidly and reached a high standard, US Ambassador to Armenia John Ordway stated. The Ambassador noted that the cooperation includes a majority of directions and is not restricted to providing of funds and equipment. In part, J. Ordway said, Washington is to continue the training of Armenian officers in the US military institutions and to assist the peacemaking battalion of the Armenian Armed Forces. Besides, the Ambassador underscored, "we will discuss the possibility of conducting joint maneuvers". To note, today John Ordway and RA defense minister took part in the opening ceremony of the hospital in the Armenian town of Talin that was repaired thanks to the funds provided by the US European Command.
