Secretary of the Union of Writers of Armenia, poet Hovik Hoveyan is appointed new Minister of Culture and Youth Affairs. The presidential decree was released by the state head's Press Service last evening. Simultaneously Tamara Poghosian is relieved from the post of the minister she held since last June. It should be noted that in compliance with the accord, concluded between the three parties making the governmental coalition - the Republican Party, Orinats Yerkir and Dashnaktsutyun - Orinats Yerkir party nominates the Minister of Culture.
