IRELAND PRESIDING IN EU CONSIDERS INCLUSION OF ARMENIA IN WIDER EUROPE IMPORTANT
Ireland considers important inclusion of the South Caucasian countries, specifically Armenia, in Wider Europe: Neighborhood EU Program, stated Irish Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia Justin Harman, who handed his credentials to Armenian President Robert Kocharian today. Both parties expressed opinions that the realization of the initiative will have a positive impact on the situation in the South Caucasus and will form new opportunities for the region. In the words of the Ambassador of Ireland, which presides at the EU at present, the question of "neighborhood" will be discussed by the EU in this June.
