President of the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party (ELDR) Graham Watson said that he is well aware of absence of progress in Armenian-Turkish relations.

“As liberals, we have no problems with using the word ‘genocide’. ELDR cooperates with those forces in Turkey, which don’t share the stance of official authorities. Despite the denial policy Turkey currently pursues, the situation in the country is incomparable with that of 10 years ago,” Mr. Watson told a press conference in Yerevan.
