On June 30 at about 1 p.m. local time Becas X-32, a small civilian plane belonging to Service Air Georgian company crashed in the Kotayk region of Armenia. As reported by the Department for Emergency Situations, the airplane was rented by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia for spraying chemical insecticides over local forests. The plane fell near one of rest homes in the village of Aghveran, killing its pilot, Georgian citizen David Kakhianidze. The circumstances of the crash are being investigated.
