SITTING OF ARMENIAN-GEORGIAN COMMISSION FOR ECONOMIC COOPERATION HELD IN TBILISI
The sitting of the Armenian-Georgian Commission for Economic Cooperation opened in Tbilisi on June 26. Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania and Armenian Premier Andranik Margarian, who is on formal visit in Tbilisi at present, delivered their speeches at the opening ceremony, RIA Novosti reports. As A. Margarian told journalists, the issue of the opening of the railway communication via the Abkhazian sector of the Transcaucasian railway is to be discussed at the sitting. In his turn Zurab Zhvania noted that the opening of this communication is connected with return of Georgian refugees in the Galski region of Abkhazia. The Prime Ministers visited the Pantheon of the Armenian culture workers in Tbilisi. Today Andranik Margarian is expected to meet with Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili.
