On June 12, Pedro Agramunt (Spain, EPP/CD) and Joseph Debono Grech (Malta, SOC), co-rapporteurs of Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for the monitoring of Azerbaijan, will pay the country a three day visit to further assess the honoring of its obligations and commitments to the Council of Europe.

According to the Council of Europe official website, they will focus on the administration of justice, religious tolerance and local and regional democracy.

The co-rapporteurs are due to meet the leaders of political parties in the Milli Mejlis, the Justice Minister, the Prosecutor General and the head of the Supreme Court, among others, as well as representatives of religious communities and local officials in Guba.
