Today newly appointed Finnish Ambassador to Armenia Terry Hacala (residence in Helsinki) handed her credentials to Armenian President Robert Kocharian. As reported by the Press Service of the Armenian leader, having congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment, the President noted that Armenia attaches much importance to promotion of relations with Finland. In the course of the conversation T. Hacala underscored the importance of inclusion of Armenia in New Neighbors EU program, which will provide for significant cooperation opportunities. The parties noted the need to form a respective treaty and contract framework for development of business ties and for holding a business forum.
