Armenian National Congress (ANC) opposition bloc member, People's Party leader Stepan Demirchyan cited the non-implementation of the previous government’s program as the reason behind ANC’s refusal to vote for the present one.

He further harshly criticized the authorities’ activity over the recent years.

Another ANC representative Nikol Pashinyan noted that the poverty rate officially totals 35 % at present, with the previous program stipulating poverty reduction up to 13%.
