ARMENIAN OPPOSITION TO CONTINUE STRUGGLE AGAINST CURRENT AUTHORITIES IN SEVERAL RESPECTS
The opposition forces of Armenia will continue struggle against the current authorities in three respects: via meetings, via the Constitutional Court and by forming a joint bloc at the coming parliamentary election. As reported by "Arka" agency, parliament deputy Shavarsh Kocharian said at a meeting with journalists today. In his words, "Justice" opposition pre-election bloc includes 9 parties and 137 candidates for deputies. Let us note that the top ten of the opposition bloc list includes leader of the People Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchian, member of Republic Party Aram Sargsian, chairman of the National-Democratic Union Vazgen Manukian, chief of "Perspective" center for strategic initiatives Aram Karapetian, chairman of Republic party Albert Bazeyan, deputies Shavarsh Kocharian and Arshak Sadoyan. Let us remind that the election of the Armenian parliament is planned May 25, 2003.
