RUSSIA OPENED VERKHNY LARS CHECKPOINT
After an interval of almost two months Verkhny Lars check-point at the Russian-Georgian border resumed work, the Press Service of the Frontier Service of the Russian Federal Security Service told Interfax new agency. The source noted, the waiver of limitations, introduced earlier, also refers to the motor check-point at the Russian-Azeri border. It should be noted that Armenia experienced difficulties in passenger and cargo transportation from Russia due to the latter closing Verkhny Lars check-point at the Russian-Georgian border as an anti-terror measure.
