The fact of the Armenian Genocide found its reflection in "Principal Directions of Social Doctrine of Church", the official document issued by Vatican, which is supposed to become the handbook of all the Catholics. A chapter of the book dedicated to genocide says in part, "the 20-th century witnessed the genocide of Armenian, Ukrainian, Cambodian, African and Balkan peoples". The document notes that those, who perpetrated the genocide, must stand trial.
